A lot happens in 6 years …

I met this lovely patient 6 years ago. She had missing teeth (where the blue arrows are) and needed them straightened. She wanted to improve her smile and not have down her teeth. She loved them and I didn’t see her for years.

She came back to me this year as she was getting married. She was still happy with her composite but wanted to see what could be done to make them look better. I suggested we do some laser gum shaping on two teeth (pink lines) to make the gum lines more even and redo the composite to make them brighter.

I love this case because seeing my patients for years and sharing happy times with them is amazing and it also shows how things have progressed with composite. Based on how she looks after them and the maintenance plan we have now they should last even longer.

It’s exciting to see where things will be in 6 years from now. Thank you to all my patients who keep coming back after all these years 💙
